BIODIVERSITY UNDER EXTINCTION – "I CAN'T BREATHE"
Have you imagined been unable to survive in your habitat? It's already happening; ocean health is in trouble! The ocean has absorbed an inexcusable volume of pollution, especially plastic! Human activities and harmful practices are driving the world fish stocks towards extinction.
Rising water levels causing part of the world to evacuate to higher ground!
Communities are wading through floodwaters and living with the aftermath of the storm!
The water is becoming acidic, hostile to marine life because oceans have absorbed carbon dioxide.
As humans live on land, inhale oxygen to live, so do the fishes in the ocean.
The painting depicts the aftermath of our activity; fish requiring oxygen masks to survive due to contaminated oceans.
Our wildlife is suffering; reefs turn from a wonderland to a wasteland. The environment is in ruins. We are on the road to a catastrophic collapse in our ecosystem. If we do not implement change in our environment, our biodiversity would be affected, and humans would be the fishes wearing gas masks in the ocean, which we call EARTH!
A radical change of human production and consumption pattern is imminent, hence the mobilisation of everyone worldwide to act NOW! We must BREATHE!
THE EYE OF THE EARTH"
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Our world is a vast and beautiful planet, filled with endless life forms of different species, ecosystems and biodiversity. It is indeed the most complex feature of our planet.
There is no sustainable future for humanity without biodiversity! We depend on biodiversity for protection from floods, pollution, and climate crisis. Mother Nature has blessed humans.
However, we have singlehandedly destroyed our planet. It’s indeed Human Planet run by humans, for humans, disregarding the other lifeforms around us.
We are raising awareness on safeguarding our environment by planting trees and advocating for tree planting for sustainability in our environment because the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink are all based on how we maintain our planet.
We are calling for change and mental reengineering to look at our wildlife, appreciate the beauty of nature and think about improving our livelihood so we can see ourselves as a part of the planet and not Apart from it.
Pure green living around communities is of utmost importance. We must care for nature to prevent the spread of diseases. The advocacy has begun to replace over 15 billion trees cut down each year.
HANDPRINT OF SURVIVAL
How long do we use our hands to manipulate the forces of nature?
Our hands have the power to create and to destroy. We have negatively used our hands to destroy the beautiful planet created to serve us.
The Hand symbolises the power we have to control and to destroy. The Earth is sick and requires biodiversity to work smoothly. Our inventions and our cities have brought not just advantages, but severe disadvantages. We have to go back to nature and correct our agelong mistakes.
The planet remains vulnerable if we continue to do nothing about her. The essence of living is to care for and protect the present's needs without jeopardising future generations' needs. It is the only solution to the environmental crisis.
Implementation of our inventions into making our Garden of Eden is a MUST. Indeed, life must interplay with the physical environment to make the EARTH habitable; we must work alongside nature and create sustainable cities and inventions to rejuvenate our world. If we act now, we can yet put things right with our HANDS.
REFORMERS
We are on a mission to create green entrepreneurs saddled with the responsibility to see waste as a valuable resource, processed and converted to various products. As reformers, we are recycling waste to wealth to save our planet from being a wasteland.
Our Ocean houses trillion pieces of plastic waste; tons are floating, billions of microfibers dwell below the surface. Tons of trash are being washed into our oceans every day, affecting the ocean and its wildlife. This pollution has adverse effects on marine life, the environment, and humanity. The results are here, dangerous health problems!
Our ocean is dying!
What if all that trash is gone? Yes, it’s possible.
As individuals, we must play our part and be reformers by recycling and taking this waste to repurpose them into valuable products to prevent them from being washed up into the ocean. Waste is used in this painting to depict transformation. Our wildlife must be preserved for our future generations.
We are on a journey to promote Waste to Wealth.
Think Waste, Rethink Recycling and Create Wealth through Paper, Bottles, Rubber, Cans, Scrap Metal, Used Clothes, Polytene Materials. The time to start is NOW!
POWER OF CURIOSITY
Why turn a deaf ear to Climate Change. Climate Crisis is happening, and it's here. These disasters aren't the acts of God; humanity is responsible. So, it must generate global awareness to spur radical change.
We are blinded by what we see and what we hear. On television, radio and social media, various forms of information are being passed across to the people disregarding the imminent dangers that lie before us. Who are the people controlling the flow of information? What do they want us to hear? Do we aspire to know more; and take immediate action?
This painting depicts the hunger for information and solution to the world’s problems. Humans are too distracted by the present and do nothing about the future. Beyond the media, the Big Eye is desperately searching for solutions to global warming, extinction, fossil fuel and so many more that contribute to the decline in our planet.
The Power of Curiosity calls for urgent awareness of the Climate Crisis. A call for us to go the extra mile to save our planet.
The world is burning, and the ocean is drying; extinction of the natural world is on the way. We must open our eyes to SEE.
And to the MEDIA, End Climate Silence Now!
THE AWAITING CRISIS
Oh, our planet was a wonderland, with thriving biodiversity, Clean Seas, Clean Air and Green Environment. We once lived in a world of balance.
The situation has changed; animals are now hard to find, we are consuming the Earth at an alarming rate until we had used it up.
We are living on the edge of a disastrous collapse. Our air has been polluted with excess carbon emissions and greenhouse gases.
In this painting, the reflection of a tree in black and white symbolises the past. It shows vibrancy, fertility, and health. The biodiversity was thriving, a reflection of the present and the future.
And the Present? We still see green leaves, minimal progress. Climate awareness is being created but with little impact. Noting is being done to reduce carbon emissions in the atmosphere. Fossil fuels are still being burnt, and this is affecting the future.
In the future, we see the devastating end product if nothing is done to curb climate change. Cigarettes and burnt plastic are being used here to show the carbon emission rate in the atmosphere — a crack in the background representing the dangerous effect that awaits us. The only solution to this is to invest in GREEN. Humans must work alongside nature rather than against it. Our world needs to be green again. Renewable energy needs to be implemented in our world. Our atmosphere needs to be free from carbon because it is about saving our planet and ourselves.
Let us return to the solar-powered living world.
GREENE PLANTING
Greene Planting depicts the essence of agriculture. Planting indigenous trees contributes to the environment by providing oxygen, preventing coaster flooding, conserving water, improving air quality, climate amelioration, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife.
The left part of the painting depicts houses and companies emitting greenhouse gases that trap heat in the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels. Fossil fuels like coal, natural gas, oil, and various derivatives are consumed to power everyday lives.
The enterprise focuses on afforestation to carbon sequestration. It reduces the overall concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and converts carbon dioxide into oxygen.
The right side of the painting depicts an eco-friendly environment that we should promote. Greene planting proposes planting trees with edible plants like tomato, pepper, lettuce, and vegetables in people's gardens, farms, and communities. The arrow sign on the tree represents carbon sequestration; the stethoscope stands for good health. The book describes Green learning. The green app on the phone is to link farmers to processing facilities to prevent post-harvest loss and sell seeds to people. The helmet represents employment opportunities, and the plate with cutlery means food security. All these are the results of the solution of carbon emission in the atmosphere.
EVERSING THE FUTURE DISASTER
A quick peep into the future; the Headlines:
- Human beings have overrun the world
- Methane is released, accelerating the rate of climate change dramatically.
- 15 billion trees cut down each year; moisture sapped
- The ocean is dying
- Our planet is losing its ice, global warming increases in speed.
- The heat continues, ocean becomes more acidic
- Coral reefs around the world die
- Fish populations crash
- Food Crisis looms, soil exhausted by overuse. Weather disrupted
- Our planet becomes two, three or four degrees Celsius warmer
- Large parts of the Earth are uninhabitable and, the worse!
We must not ignore the global decline of our natural world. A call to action for the world fixers: the next generation of change agents, environmental conscious youths, children with excellent goals to save the mother Earth.
They are arising now to protect the planet through education, advocacy, green entrepreneurship, and partnerships. An army would set out soon to raise Africa and the world from the dismay of climate crisis and rearrange the puzzle pieces scattered around, and we shall celebrate the glory of nature again.
With joint efforts, we will raise these soldiers, and they shall redeem the Earth’s beauty.
Race to Zero-Emission
Long before the modification of science and technology, the Earth experienced a peaceful and healthy climate condition. The Natural World was beautiful!
THE RACE TO ZERO-EMISSION
Long before the modification of science and technology, the Earth experienced a peaceful and healthy climate condition. The Natural World was beautiful!
I'm not saying that science and technology are responsible for the climate crisis; instead, our ignorance, greed, and selfishness! Every action has a reaction!
The painting shows how our actions are causing extreme damage to the environment.
The human figure represents this oblivious one. The shovel, which has a chain connected to it, represents negative actions such as the ejection of carbon into the atmosphere, burning fossil fuel, improper waste disposal, which destroys life under the sea, hence the bloody ocean!
This action is digging a grave for the Earth; that is why the background is a graveyard. The dark colour depicts the consequences of our actions.
The Earth still has colours because there is hope, so now is the time to put up a big fight against the climate crisis. The solar-powered ray of the sun is bringing out eternal energies of nature; Sunlight, Wind, Water, Geothermal, which is phasing out fossil fuels. And the Race to Zero moves towards the sun.
Let's stop excessive emission of carbon and revive this dying Earth.

Take a Second Look
Meet the regular woman, Miss Earth, on her way back from shopping, looking fashionably dressed, eating a regular burger.
TAKE A SECOND LOOK
Meet the regular woman, Miss Earth, on her way back from shopping, looking fashionably dressed, eating a regular burger. At first glance, the dropping of the plastic cup is the most apparent, non-eco-friendly option, but what if I tell you she has ten other carbon footprints.
Let the track begins:
The first footprint is her home. She left all the lights on before she stepped out. It is estimated that almost half of our carbon footprint is due to electricity, and 17% is due to lighting alone.
The second footprint shows that she spent one hour in the shower, Showers use 2.5 gallons of water per minute, and each gallon uses three ounces of carbon dioxide. How much carbon dioxide do you think her one-hour bath costs?
The third footprint showed that she drove to her location with her vehicle that emits so much carbon.
The fourth shows the plastic packet that contained her burger that she dropped on the floor.
The fifth shows her nonchalance to nature as she tramples upon a plant.
The sixth shows in her clothing; her skirt is made from reptile skin.
The seventh in her coat, made from the skin of a furry animal
The eighth - in her shopping bags, excessive shopping is not encouraged as the manufacturing, transport and packaging of materials leave a train of emission.
The ninth is the burger. The production of beef contributes significantly to emission, the rearing of livestock from farm to fork.
Lastly is her attitude towards awareness, as she has the solution to all the problems if she indeed takes the book: “The lazy persons guide to saving the world” and equip herself with its information.
The painting narrates the footprint of one person out of billions of people in this world. Can we do the math? Multiply all the emissions and imagine the harm. This shows that as individuals, we indeed have a hand in saving our planet. We do not have to rely solely on our governments and the "big guys". A drastic behavioural change can make a significant impact.
THE NEXT GENERATION
We are pregnant with a new generation, and we grossly affect them and their lives.
The baby signifies the next generation we are about to birth with pollution, dirty waterbodies and bad air. From the depiction in the womb, we can see we are feeding them already with all these harmful things, and if we are not careful, we might destroy the future.
But there is hope, and that hope is nature. Our future, our next generation, is holding on to that hope. Nature can heal us. Nature can provide for us. Nature can save us. So, let us also take hold of nature and birth a healthy, sustainable future from the four corners of this world.
CLIMATE JUSTICE
The world as we know it is in perils. Danger lurks at every corner of the Earth, and unfortunately, we are not heeding to its warnings on the looming dangers. We now live in a world with no thought of the after-effects of our excessive and wasteful lifestyle. No immediate action or law is being enforced. The order of the world is to take and take until there is nothing left.
Mother Earth is rapidly depleting, and she is crying for help, for change, but no one hears her pleas. This calls for consequential reformation. We call for a state of urgency concerning our world. We see a Smart City balanced with a World Clock on the Justice scale, indicating that this is the decade of action where we must create a justice system for a sustainable world to ensure that the world is free from disaster.
This would be in the form of laws, principles, rules and regulations that would be enforced to ensure that we as humans do not go against the norm that hurts planet earth, and we must act NOW! These must be put in place before the year 2030 as our time is running out. We must create awareness and advocate for climate justice so that people will know that there are certain things we must do and not do to save our planet and create a sustainable environment. The existing marginalization and inequality gap must be closed.
Moreover, there would be severe consequences to those who go against the laws and hurt nature. According to the world clock, we need the urgency to protect our planet as this is the Decade of Acton.
ZERO-EMISSION
Our world suffers dearly from several causes and of one main reason, which is Carbon emission. Our air is unclean. Toxins from oil spillage have contaminated our rivers and seas, chemical waste, and so many more. Companies are being encouraged to build more plants and burn more fossil fuels like coal and steel. The burning of fossil fuels increases year after year, notwithstanding its terrible effects on our planet. The Earth is losing its balance. When we burn oil, coal, and gas, we don't just meet our energy needs—we drive the current global warming crisis as well.
Fossil fuels produce large quantities of carbon dioxide when burned. Carbon emissions trap heat in the atmosphere and lead to climate change.
The Earth is now 1°C higher than in the 30s. We are killing ourselves with our own hands. Here, we see the outcome when fossil fuels are being burnt and the right way of living. If we continue this disruptive path, our lives will be completely contaminated by carbon. Our world would continue to deteriorate, bleed until there is none left.
We would become the walking dead. For us not to be caught up in that terrible future, we must act now and phase out fossil fuels by making use of God-given resources. Our planet is blessed with various resources like sunlight and wind. We must incorporate technology into our sustainable future and invest in a solar, wind and hydro-powered lifestyle. We must make that transition into affordable sustainability as we must drastically reduce the emission rate to secure a great future on this planet Earth.
PLANT DEGRADATION
The world as we know it is depreciating. Deforestation is now the new watchword. Approximately, we lose 3.5 billion to 15 billion trees each year. This is saddening as the forests cover nearly 35% of the Earth's surface. The rainforests are disappearing.
Without our trees, the amount of carbon emission in the atmosphere grows at an alarming rate. We see this here as it is depicted in the painting. There is a looming dark cloud covering the umbrella, which is caused by carbon emissions from factories and industries taken up by the cloud, which produces acid rain; it's a continuous cycle.
Our trees and plants are being affected, and we see a withered tree that has been affected by acid rain. It represents death, waiting to happen.
A dark cloud covers the world, and immediate action is required to end the cloud. We must take a stand because the forests are a fundamental component of our planet's recovery. They are the best technology for curbing carbon dioxide. We must promote Green living as we see under the umbrella. The Earth is green and is thriving. The plants under are not affected and are growing.
This umbrella represents sustainability, collaboration and alliance of nations under the Earth. Sustainable Partnerships between government, businesses, and civil society are required to rise above the challenges of the climate crisis.
Will you join hands with us to work for NATURE?
MOBILISATION OF FINANCE FOR A GREENER WORLD
The financial institutions and project sponsors channel their finances to the incognito puppet masters. The latter is pulling the strings on projects that foster Deforestation, Oil spillage, Fossil Fuel and other activities contributing to Climate Crisis.
The financiers ignite the fossil fuel industry, thereby encouraging pollution, loss of biodiversity and destruction of our water bodies. The more green entrepreneurs, climate change activists, and environmentalists fight against the climate crisis, the more the funds they pull out to destroy the sustainable future.
The envisioned future with green buildings, sustainable transportation, renewable energy, zero waste, clear blue skies, and clean waters is covered by heavy pollution, fire, loss of biodiversity and a damaged health system
The hands protecting this city is hurting from the flames generated by the puppetries. The activists are screaming, shouting, calling out for help.
What is the way forward?
We need countries, governments, private organizations, individuals to support and channel their finances to a sustainable world that will benefit us all. Currently, the polluters handle the bags of money with no intention to protect the planet.
I call on corporations, government, financiers to shift focus to building a greener future for everyone.
The time is now!
FINANCING FOR NATURE
Masts and generators powered by fossil fuels should become a thing of the past, and renewable energy a juggernaut.
Generations have suffered from the effects of using unsustainable, unhealthy, and high pollutant energy, increasing global warming worldwide.
It's baffling to know that this energy source, depicted through the skeleton, gets very high funding, leaving people and nature to die gradually.
The world now with a higher population with less space cannot survive without renewable energy, so there is a need to invest in sources that can supply sustainable energy such as wind, water, sun, plants, and the heat from the earth to enhance healthy health living.
It is of great importance that investments into non-renewable energy be diverted into Less harmful sources of energy.
CLIMATE-SMART AGRICULTURE
The food security challenge is on the increase!. The demand for food is very high, and the world needs to produce about 70% more food to feed an estimated 9 billion people by 2050—this painting is a call to reimagine agriculture to protect the planet.
The left-hand side of the painting depicts a large metaphorical leg that represents the present system of agriculture. This agriculture system poses a danger to the ecosystem; encourages deforestation, land grabbing, the use of harmful chemicals, and inefficient use of water resources.
Unsustainable agriculture results in more carbon emissions to the atmosphere and poses health risks to man. Now is the time to embrace eco-friendly innovations in our farms; that is why the treasure of hydroponics is unravelled.
As depicted in the painting, hydroponics farming is considered a treasure because crops are grown in a nutrient solution rather than soil. Hydroponics is a system of agriculture that requires little water, no soil and no pesticides, with a satisfying yield.
Hydroponics is a treasure, and now is the time to exploit it. Will you share my vision to save the planet. A Race to Zero, A Race We Must Win
