Have you imagined been unable to survive in your habitat? It's already happening; ocean health is in trouble! The ocean has absorbed an inexcusable volume of pollution, especially plastic!

The Eye of the Earth

The Eye of the Earth

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Our world is a vast and beautiful planet, filled with endless life forms of different species, ecosystems and biodiversity. It is indeed the most complex feature of our planet.
Handprint of Survival

Handprint of Survival

How long do we use our hands to manipulate the forces of nature? Our hands have the power to create and to destroy.

Reformers

Reformers

We are on a mission to create green entrepreneurs saddled with the responsibility to see waste as a valuable resource, processed and converted to various products.

Power of Curiosity

Power of Curiosity

Why turn a deaf ear to Climate Change. Climate Crisis is happening, and it's here. These disasters aren't the acts of God; humanity is responsible. So, it must generate global awareness to spur radical change.
Awaiting Crisis

Awaiting Crisis

Oh, our planet was a wonderland, with thriving biodiversity, Clean Seas, Clean Air and Green Environment. We once lived in a world of balance.

Greene Planting

Greene Planting

Greene Planting depicts the essence of agriculture. Planting indigenous trees contributes to the environment by providing oxygen, preventing coaster flooding, conserving water, climate amelioration, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife.

Reversing the Future Disaster

Reversing the Future Disaster

A quick peep into the future; the Headlines - "Human beings have overrun the world"; "Methane is released, accelerating the rate of climate change dramatically"; "15 billion trees cut down each year; moisture sapped"...

The Next Generation

The Next Generation

We are pregnant with a new generation, and we grossly affect them and their lives. The baby signifies the next generation we are about to birth with pollution, dirty waterbodies and bad air.

Climate Justice

Climate Justice

The world as we know it is in perils. Danger lurks at every corner of the Earth, and unfortunately, we are not heeding to its warnings on the looming dangers.

Zero-Emission

Zero-Emission

Our world suffers dearly from several causes and of one main reason, which is Carbon emission. Our air is unclean. Toxins from oil spillage have contaminated our rivers and seas, chemical waste, and so many more.

Plant Degradation

Plant Degradation

Why turn a deaf ear to Climate Change. Climate Crisis is happening, and it's here. These disasters aren't the acts of God; humanity is responsible. So, it must generate global awareness to spur radical change.
Mobilisation of Finance

Mobilisation of Finance

The financial institutions and project sponsors channel their finances to the incognito puppet masters. The latter is pulling the strings on projects that foster Deforestation, Oil spillage, Fossil Fuel and other activities contributing to Climate Crisis.

Financing for Nature

Financing for Nature

Masts and generators powered by fossil fuels should become a thing of the past, and renewable energy a juggernaut. Generations have suffered from the effects of using unsustainable, unhealthy, and high pollutant energy, increasing global warming worldwide.

Climate-Smart Agriculture

Climate-Smart Agriculture

The food security challenge is on the increase!. The demand for food is very high, and the world needs to produce about 70% more food to feed an estimated 9 billion people by 2050—this painting is a call to reimagine agriculture to protect the planet.

About

Solution17 for Climate Action

Solution17 for Climate Action in Africa (CAA) was created by Creative Youth Community Development Initiative (CYCDI) to spark creativity among young people in building the Future We Want through the implementation of Climate Solutions and Enterprises. CAA promotes the natural environment and prosperity in different communities.

The project commenced in January 2020 at the Covenant University Nigeria. It explores youth’s creative and innovative capacities through a proper understanding of sustainability, their environment, and the current global threat (COVID-19); to produce SDG-based social solutions impact and profit.

It began with the registration and submission of project ideas and a series of training and selection sessions. 17 Finalists and their teams were admitted for bespoke training at the Solution17 Innovation Hub in July 2020. The project produced 17 Climate Action start-ups with a projection to create a minimum of five million innovators across the commonwealth through Entrepreneurship Network Marketing by September 25, 2030.
